After representing clients of Morton McGoldrick in business transactions, bankruptcy cases, and creditor’s rights for more than a decade, Chris is busier than ever – and enjoying every minute of it.

“It’s a lot of work with financial institutions, and both businesses and individuals,” he says. “Anything that comes up in the course of the day.”

What comes up most often for this Bowden College and Willamette Law School grad is creditor/debtor types of work, real-estate transactions, and agreement licensing, among other things.

“I work with a lot of financial institutions, often representing various credit unions and banks in collection and bankruptcy,” he says. “I’ve done a pretty broad variety of work.”

Indeed, the day is never dull, with cases ranging from the $100,000s into the millions for both local and out-of-state clients. Chris also hones his skills off-the-clock with memberships in the Washington State, Tacoma-Pierce, and Creditor-Debtor Law Section bar associations. And when it’s not law, Chris’ focus turns to community service, for which he has participated in fundraising for the YMCA and served on the Kitsap Peninsula Advisory Commission and the local Land & Use Board.

It’s not all work and no play, though, for Chris, who is an avid skier and cycler. He’s also an accomplished triathlete and marathoner whose competitive experience includes the grueling Iron Man race – in itself a combined 2.4-mi swim, 112-mi bike course, and 26.3-mi run - as well as numerous national contests.

“I work hard, I train hard, and I play hard,” he summarizes.

And when he takes on your case, he’ll fight hard for you as well.
